Photography for art-gallery Machinery of Me: exhibition “Holes in the Sky”
Machinery of Me invited Gabriel Lester to create new work that would add a layer of meaning to the location of the institution; a former engine room in which oil-fired heating installations supplied heat to buildings on a barracks site. The invitation resulted in two new works, including a monumental, site-specific light installation.
